Rabat – Social issues will be given priority by the incoming government, which will put emphasis on the sectors of education, health, employment, housing and justice, said Abdelilah Benkirane, Head of the Moroccan Government.
Speaking during an interview broadcasted by the Doha-based Al-Jazeera news channel, Head of the Government said that the process of forming the new cabinet is underway on the basis of a participative approach, noting the possibility of opting for former ministers who meet the merit criteria.
Benkirane also voiced willingness to engage in a dialogue with the February 20 movement, whose claims “will be satisfied as far as possible”.
On the other hand, the Head of Government stressed the need for promoting the Moroccan Algerian relations, voicing hope to see borders between the two neighbourly and brotherly countries reopened.
