The order includes a large drum washer, Skako confirmed, as well as a big dewatering vibratory screen to dilute and clean phosphate slurry which is transported by pipeline from the mining site to the port of shipment.

It is the second such deal between the companies in as many years. This order includes one of the world’s largest-ever drums in the category, according to managing director Lionel Girieud.

“This project is included in OCP’s investment plan to increase its production, and we already know that two other scrubbing lines will have to be purchased and installed at the same mining site in the years to come. We will, of course, work hard to also be a strong contender for these projects”, he added.

Skako said its revenue from the order will be realised this year.

Skako Vibration is a division of the Skako Group; it develops, designs and sells vibratory feeding, conveying and screening equipment from its Faaborg facility in Denmark and Strasbourg location in France.

OCP Group is state-owned, and the group holds about 75% of the world’s reserves of phosphate.
