Screen_shot_2012-07-13_at_10.48.50_AM.pngSince 2003, thousands of people around the world have participated in the WEEC (World Environmental Education Congress).

Next year we will find ourselves together again in Marrakesh (Morocco) for the Seventh WEEC, from 9 to 14 June 2013.

As always, the focus of attention will be on all themes relative to environmental education and all the protagonists − academics, teachers, students, practitioners, institutions and those from civil and industrial society – will be welcomed.

Moreover, for the first time, a WEEC is being held in a country with an Arab – Muslim culture, and for the first time a theme (the relation between city and countryside in search of harmony) will be the object of great transversal attention across all the thematic areas, obviously without ignoring all the other themes.

We have tried very hard to keep the enrollment costs down. Morocco is a destination that is relatively inexpensive and of exceptional natural and cultural interest, so we hope to be in large numbers in Marrakesh in less than one year.

We warmly invite you to submit your proposal abstract to the 7th World Environmental Education Congress will be held at the Palais des Congres in Marrakech, Morocco from June 9 to 14, 2013. The Congress theme is: Environmental Education in Cities and Rural Areas: Seeking Greater Harmony.

The presentation formats to choose from are: Oral Papers, Poster Presentations, Round Table Papers, and Workshops. Detailed instructions for submitting your proposal are available at this site under “Abstract.”

Again, please encourage friends and colleagues to submit their own abstracts.Your proposal must be submitted online.
