Rabat – The new Head of Government, Abdelilah Benkirane, said, on Friday in Rabat, that the settlement of the Sahara issue will enable the resolution of all problems between Morocco and Algeria, stressing the importance of brotherly relations between the two countries
Speaking at a press briefing with MAP, AFP, Reuters and EFE news agencies, Benkirane said that the political changes that are taking place in the Maghreb countries “are in line with the logic of history which highlights the fraternity and unity of the peoples of the region.”
He also expressed his willingness to work for the promotion of Morocco’s external relations, especially with African, Arab, and Islamic countries, as well as with all countries with which Morocco have brotherly and friendly links.
Regarding the situation in Syrian, Benkirane hoped that things will take positive turn as soon as possible.
