Doha – Qatar wants to receive more Moroccan skilled labor, Qatari Industry and Energy minister Mohamed Bin Salah Assada said, on the occasion of the Moroccan-Qatari meeting, Sunday in Doha, as part of the official working visit by HM King Mohammed VI to this country.
“We informed the Moroccan delegation of Qatar’s wish to offer more employment opportunities to our Moroccan brothers,” the minister told MAP, adding the number of Moroccan workers in this country do not exceed 6,500, which does not reflect the solidity of bonds between the two states.
The two parties agreed, during the large meeting by the two official delegations, on setting up a coordination mechanism, broadening the scope of fields involved in this vision, and exchanging information to facilitate the access of Moroccan labor force to the Qatari market, he noted.
“Our experience with Moroccan brothers living in Qatar is very positive (..) they work with abnegation and are fully integrated in the Qatari society,” he underlined.
