New York (UN) – Foreign Ministers of the signatories to the Agadir free trade agreement (signed on February 25, 2004 and includes Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt and Jordan) agreed, Monday in New York, to Palestine’s membership of the grouping.

Moroccan Foreign Minister Taib Fassi Fihri noted that the agreement would include the new, free Libya.

He stressed the need to achieve integration among Arab Mediterranean states and to extend the provisions of the Agadir Agreement at all economic levels.
