Over 30,000 Saharawis Call In A Sit-In In Laayoune MINURSO To Leave The Territory

More than 30,000 Saharawis have gathered in front of the United Nations Mission for the Organization of the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO) based in Laayoune, and called on the UN mission to leave the territory.

The sit-in coincided with the passage of King Mohammed VI on board on his car, in one of his tours, he used to carry to look at his subjects.

Protestors Enthusiastically drove off in toward the king , chanting his life, and whistle blowers him deep pride in the Royal visit to the southern provinces.

Protestors affiliated from elected officials, heads of Sahrawi tribes, and representatives of civil society chanted during this sit-in slogans against the UN presence on the territory and pointed out that its presence has become irrelevant in light of the mega projects King Mohammed VI has launched this weekend on the 40th anniversary of the Green March.
