Anger over social housing distribution in the southern Algerian city of Ouargla escalated on Thursday (April 11th), Tout sur l’Algerie reported. Clashes continued into the evening between protestors and police officers, with multiple injuries reported.
Several administration buildings were also torched, National Committee for Protection of the Rights of the Unemployed (CNDDC) member Abdelmalek Aibek said.
