Marrakech – Deputy Secretary General of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Richard Boucher, praised, on Wednesday in Marrakech, partnership relations between the OECD and Morocco, commending the role played by the Kingdom and its contributions to develop MENA-OECD programme.

In a statement to the press at the end of his meeting with Moroccan Minister in charge of Modernization and Public Sectors, Saadi Alami, on the sidelines of the Fourth Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, which is being held in Marrakech (October 24-28), Boucher commended Morocco’s achievements in terms of good governance, transparency, equity and the moralization of public life.

He also lauded Morocco’s efforts and reforms aiming at encouraging investment and private initiative, while guaranteeing a loyal competition between economic operators through the setting up of control and prevention tools against depravity.
