Paris – Director of the Development Centre of The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Mario Pezzini commened, on Thursday, Morocco for its development strategy.
Pezzini who was speaking at a high-level ministerial meeting in Paris said that the future development strategy of the OECD should take into consideration the interesting steps taking by emerging countries such as Morocco.
Morocco’s experience can enrich the OECD’s development strategy, he said on the sidelines of the meeting, held under the co-chaired by Morocco’s General Affairs and Governance Minister and European Development Commissioner Andris Piebalgs with the participation of 42 OECD member countries.
Pezzini said that the choice fell on Morocco to co-chair this highlevel closed-door meeting given the OECD’s endeavour to involve emerging countries in outlining development strategies.
