Nigeria: 45 million Internet users, Africa’s new record

(AGI) Lagos – The latest international research center classifications confirm it. By the end of 2011, Nigeria exceeded the 45 million Internet users. This data propels the African giant to the continental top place. It is useful to remember that Nigeria is the most populous nation of the continent with at least 155 million inhabitants. Second place goes to Egypt with 21,7 million users (and 80 million inhabitants), followed by Morocco (15,7 million Web users and 30 million inhabitants) and Kenya (10,6 million users.) . .
