Las Palmas – The Association of the Polisario Missing (APDP) drew, on Monday, the attention of the President of Canary Island’s autonomous government, Paulino Rivero, to the situation of the Saharawi victims of torture in the polisario-run prisons in Algeria.
In a letter to the Canarian Presidency, the Association voiced hope to see justice brought to the victims of polisario torture and imprisonment in the Algerian territory.
The letter recalls in this respect that a complaint was already filed with Spanish courts against the polisario torturers who live in Spain and the Canary Islands.
Photos and testimonies of polisario victims were also attached to the letter.
