Next Russian-Arab Cooperation Forum May Take Place In Morocco In 2020 – LAS Head

The sixth ministerial session of the Russian-Arab Cooperation Forum scheduled for 2020 might be held in Morocco, Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit said on Tuesday.

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik – 16th April, 2019) The sixth ministerial session of the Russian-Arab Cooperation Forum scheduled for 2020 might be held in Morocco, Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit said on Tuesday.

“We adopted a three-year action plan, 2019-2021, which includes political, economic and cultural sphere of cooperation between Russia and the Arab world.

We hope that in 2020 the next session of the forum will be hosted by Morocco,” Gheit said at a press conference on the sidelines of the fifth ministerial session of the Russian-Arab Cooperation Forum in Moscow.

The fifth ministerial session of the Russian-Arab Cooperation Forum with the participation of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is underway on Tuesday in the Russian capital.

The memorandum on the establishment of the forum was signed in December 2009.
