Cairo – Justice Minister Mustafa Ramid announced, on Wednesday in Cairo, that the national debate on the reform of justice will be launched by the end of March with the participation of all actors concerned.
“The national debate on the reform of justice will be launched approximately by the end of March and will span two months with the participation of all actors concerned,” he told MAP after having presided over the 27th Council of Arab Justice Ministers.
He added that this debate, which will end next July, will be crowned with the organization of the national conference on the reform of justice which is expected to lead to a national charter on this matter.
He underlined that this debate is open to everybody, notably magistrates, lawyers, notaries, bailiffs and professors, as well as civil society.
The Council of Arab Justice Ministers’ meeting touched on the implementation of the Riyadh agreement on Arab judicial cooperation, Arab strategies to fight against human trafficking and the development of Arab justice.
