Rabat – Morocco’s phosphate exports rose 9.5% up to late February, standing at more than 5.23 billion dirhams against 4.78 billion dirhams the same period last year, the exchange rate monitoring body, Office des Changes, said.
Exports of phosphate by-products reached 13.16 billion dirhams, that is a 1.8% decline, the Office said.
The same source reported that energy products imports rose 18.4% to hit more than 43.14 billion dirhams compared to 36.43 billion dirhams the same period last year.
