Morocco’s state-run phosphate monopoly OCP has won required approvals to buy 10 percent of Brazil’s Fertilizantes Heringer, a statement from the company said on Monday.

Both companies agreed last year to increase Heringer’s capital to let OCP control 10 pct of Heringer for around $55 million. The two companies agreed also a long-term supply agreement for phosphate-based products.
