Rabat – Morocco’s head of the government Abdelilah Benkirane said on Tuesday that his cabinet is driven on by a real will to undertake reforms and that it will abide by the State’s commitments.
“The cabinet will abide by all the state’s commitments, building on our attachment to our principles and values,” Benkirane told reporters after HM the King’s appointment of the members of the new cabinet.
He added that the government will reinforce existing partnerships and endeavour to establish new ones in order to consolidate the Kingdom’s standing in its Maghreb, Arab, African and international environment.
Regarding investments, Benkirane said it is urgent to enhance trust, transparency and attractiveness of investments as a driving force for the national economy.
“We will see to it that national and foreign investments in Morocco can benefit from favourable conditions for them to develop and for our country to be more competitive in this area,” he said.
