Entirely Restored After Massacre That Killed 17.

The Argana cafe reopened on December 23 in Marrakesh after having been closed since a terrorist attack on it on April 28, 2011. The attack on the popular hangout with vast terraces in the Jamaa El-Fnaa square had killed 17 people and injured 20.

Entirely restored and with an extra terrace floor, the cafe and restaurant chose to return to business for the year-end celebrations and the 30th anniversary of Marrakesh’s being named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. (ANSAmed).
