Addis Ababa  –  Morocco wants to inaugurate with African States a new partnership based on innovative instruments, Moroccan Minister Delegate at the Foreign Ministry Youssef Amrani said Sunday.

This vision is based on an effective instrument that the Kingdom has, namely the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation, which plays a supporting role to African partners, Amrani said in a statement from Addis Ababa to “Radio Chaîne Inter”.

Morocco also has expertise in specialized areas that it wants to share with its partners, particularly in hydraulics and agriculture, in addition to an over 30-year experience in management training in various specialties, he added.

“Today, the priority in Africa is to end the hotbeds of tension through a balanced approach that takes into account cooperative security issues and essentially development where Morocco can play an important role,” he said.

Amrani, who is since Thursday in Addis Ababa, held talks with several African ministers (Niger, Comoros, Nigeria, Congo-Brazzaville, Ghana, Liberia, Mauritius, Seychelles and Malawi).
