Tangier – The success of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) and the Euro-Mediterranean cooperation process, in general, is a win-win need, said Wednesday evening Moroccan Foreign Minister Taib Fassi Fihri.

The minister, speaking at the 4th Medays Forum (running in Tangier from November 16 to 19), wishes to see the concerned governments “find the necessary creativity in order to engage in and make the UfM successful.”

“Without peace in the Mediterranean, there would be no stability neither in the south nor in the north. This requires dialogue, common action and listening to the other,” stressed Fassi Fihri.

The Minister urged Europe to embark on a structured relation with the south, as there are common actions and projects that could include all constituents of this cooperation.
