Laurent Fabius, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development, will visit Morocco from March 9 to 10.
This visit is part of the process of revitalizing the friendly relations between France and Morocco.
The discussions will focus on the renewed ambitions for the French-Moroccan partnership: the fight against climate disruption, the fight against terrorism and the prevention of radicalization, security and development in the Mediterranean region and in Africa.
In order to further develop our economic partnership, Laurent Fabius will work with his interlocutors on the development of joint projects in growth sectors such as transport, renewable energy, sustainable cities and tourism, notably in the region’s emerging markets.
On this occasion, Laurent Fabius will launch the “France Morocco 2015” cultural season, one of the largest programs organized by our cultural network abroad, with more than 300 events scheduled to take place in the 12 Instituts Français in Morocco.
