Tourism in Morocco continues its upward trajectory, with visitors from all over the world flocking to the country all year round to experience its beauty and hospitality. More foreign visitors are expected to come as the government ramps up its campaigns to meet its 2020 tourism revenue target of MAD 140 billion.

Sérgio Pereira, General Manager of Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort, said: “Morocco, an exotic country on the western tip of North Africa, provides visitors with an uninterrupted view of both the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. They also come here to visit our many ancient cities and experience the country’s unique culture and heritage. Morocco’s offering of diverse leisure activities and adventures make it an unforgettable global tourist destination. We at Mazagan are proud to be making significant contributions to the steady growth of the local tourism community.”

Located one hour away from Casablanca airport, the spectacular Mazagan is considered one of Morocco’s unique tourist spots and an exciting holiday destination in the country and the whole of North Africa region. Local, regional, and international guests choose to stay at the luxury resort to enjoy the stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean, its world-class facilities and services, and fun and relaxing activities, among others.

Also renowned for its impressive architectural designs, the resort has 500 suites and rooms that overlook either the Atlantic Ocean, the pool or the forest and its 18 holes golf course. The resort’s facilities include top-notch restaurants, a world-class spa, a night club, and par-72, 18-hole golf course designed by Gary Player, a South African golfer who is considered one of the greatest players the game has ever seen. Additionally, Mazagan boasts a network of globally renowned key partners, establishing long-standing ties with each of them to deliver services that are second to none. This year the resort welcomed 96 000 guests in the first half of the year and remains positive about the coming months.

“Like the rest of the world, tourism is a key economic pillar here in Morocco. The industry creates new jobs for the people and bring in substantial income to the government. It also helps improve the country’s world-class status and reputation on the international stage. At Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort, we firmly believe in the industry’s significant role in the nation’s overall socio-economic program, as such, we remain steadfast in our commitment to promote Morocco’s beauty and authenticity as well as provide unrivaled services and offerings to our guests. By ensuring our guests with an unforgettable stay, we are, in effect, contributing to the steady growth of the domestic tourism sector,” Mr Pereira concluded.
