The Moroccan government has approved a cooperation agreement on vocational training and technical support with Nigeria in the area of agriculture.
This agreement was approved by the cabinet during its weekly meeting Thursday in Rabat.
The agreement aims at strengthening the legal framework governing cooperation between the two countries in the areas of agriculture and rural development.
It defines the means for the implementation of technical cooperation in the field of agricultural higher education and agricultural vocational training, in order to strengthen the productive capacity of Nigerian engineers, technicians and farmers.
The agreement was signed last June during the official visit by the Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari to Morocco.
