RABAT, Aug 3 (KUNA) — Morocco decided Friday to send a team to provide logistic and humanitarian support to Jordan to help it cope with the rising number of Syrian refugees.

This came in a phone call between Moroccan King Mohammad VI and Jordanian King Abdullah II, during which the Moroccan Monarch expressed his country’s full support with Jordan, which has been receiving tens of thousands of Syrians fleeing hostilities in their country.

The Moroccan team will help the Jordanians provide aid for the Syrian refugees, an official statement said.

King Mohammad VI and King Abdullah II, meanwhile, discussed the violence in Syria which killed some 20,000 people and forced displacement of hundreds of thousands others.
