Rabat – Morocco will continue its policy of openness in its external relations while seeking to diversify its economic and political partners, said on Tuesday Moroccan Foreign Minister Saad-Eddine El Othmani.
The Kingdom is committed to strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing their level, El Othmani said after a meeting in Rabat with European and North American ambassadors, as part of a series of communication meetings organized by the Foreign Ministry with the diplomatic missions accredited to Morocco.
He noted that this meeting reflects the government’s desire to maintain “active and fruitful” the presence of the Kingdom in the regional and international institutions.
At a press briefing on Monday after a meeting with the Arab and African ambassadors accredited in Rabat, El Othmani had stressed the need to instil in Moroccan diplomacy a new dynamic in tune with the international and regional changes.
