Moroccan King Mohammed VI on Thursday instructed the dispatch and deployment of a military field hospital in Lebanese capital Beirut, which was rocked by explosions on Tuesday.
The field hospital staff include 100 health workers, among whom are 14 doctors in various specialties, official news agency MAP reported.
The field hospital will include operating rooms, Care Unit beds, a laboratory, a radiology unit, hospitalization bloc, radiology and sterilization units, it added.
Four C-130 military planes and four cargo aircrafts left the North African country on Thursday, carrying humanitarian aid, medicines, and tents for the accommodation of disaster victims.
Moroccan humanitarian aid consists of 295 tons of foodstuffs, 10 tons of medical equipment, and 11 tons of special equipment for the COVID-19 response. Enditem
