Rabat, Morocco – Morocco Wednesday expressed full support for the democratic transition underway in Libya and condemned Tuesday’s attacks on the French embassy in Tripoli, PANA reported here, citing a communique from the Moroccan Foreign Affairs ministry.
The communiqué said that ‘The Moroccan Kingdom reaffirms its rejection and condemnation of terrorism in all its forms, while backing ongoing political transition in Libya, a brotherly country.’
“Morocco learnt, with a profound pain, about Tuesday’s attack which targeted the French embassy in Tripoli. We condemn that cowardly and criminal act,’ the communique said, adding that Rabat restates its solidarity with France and victims of the attacks.
