Marseille -President of the World Water Council Loic Fauchon affirmed, Monday in Marseille, that Morocco is remarkably organized in water management with modern tools that are adapted to water requirements.
“Morocco is remarkably organized, it has basins and many stakeholders such as the drinking water facility (ONEP), state-owned companies for supply, and public services delegations, so many modern tools adapted to water requirements,” he said during the ceremony of awarding the Hassan II Great World Water Prize at the opening of the 6th World Water Forum, attended by head of government Abdelilah Benkirane.
Fauchon paid tribute to Morocco which has initiated this prize. “This proposal honored us”, he said, adding that the Kingdom is making huge efforts in relation with the policy of water.
The Prize trophy was awarded by Head of Government Abdelilah Benkirane to the Executive Secretary of the Sahara and the Sahel Observatory (OSS).
