For the first time since the deadly May 16th 2003 Casablanca bombings, Moroccan authorities raised the terror alert level in the country, Le360.ma reported on Thursday (December 18th).
Ahead of the holiday period, additional checkpoints will be set up and the police presence at major hotels and foreign embassies will increase, al-Ahdath reported.
