RABAT, Nov 22 (KUNA) – Moroccan Prime Minister Abdelilah Benkirane met here Thursday visiting Spanish Minister of Defense Pedro Morenes Eulate on bilateral relations and the latest developments in Sahel.
Speaking to reporters following the meeting, the Spanish minister said they had discussed several issues of mutual interest and how to reinforce security cooperation and deepen neighborly distinguished relations between Morocco and Spain.
The situation in Sahel and the crisis in Mali were also on the agenda of talks, he said, hailing his visit to Rabat as “fruitful”.
Earlier in the day, the Spanish minister of defense met several Moroccan ministers and officials on ways and means of promoting and developing Moroccan-Spanish cooperative relations.
