Morocco looks set for further dairy development

The Moroccan market for liquid milk shows significant signs of development with a US$7m (€5.36m) surge in imports in July, according to recently released customs figures.

The leap in demand, from a yearly average of around 200-300 tonnes to over 10 000t in a single month, has been to the benefit of Portuguese exporters looking for alternatives to a stagnating Spanish market.
