Morocco keen on attracting more Bahraini investors

Manama, Jan. 18 (BNA)– Moroccan Minister Delegate to the Minister of Equipment, Transportation and Logistics, in Charge of Transportation Mohammed Najib Boulif lauded Bahrain’s landmark infrastructure and transportation sector development during the last decade.
In a statement to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), on the sidelines of Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) 2014, he asserted that Morocco will provide Bahraini investors with all needed facilities to accede its local markets, in particular, and the African ones, in general.

He said the Bahraini and GCC investors can avail of a market of nearly 1 billion consumers by taking advantage of partnership contracts between the public and private sectors as well as long-term development projects. He pointed out that Bahrain has many investments in Morocco in the real estates, tourism and air transportation sectors.

He described Bahraini investments in Morocco as the best future model to support the infrastructure through partnership between the public and private sectors. He added that his meeting today with the Bahraini Transportation Minister reflected keenness to further bolster bilateral relations by activating agreements and protocols signed in past decade.

He asserted that Bahrain will be present in Morocco Airshow in April, in Marrakesh, which will offer the opportunity to study joint projects.

He also emphasised the importance of bilateral meetings to boost the Bahraini-Moroccan partnership.
