According to Reuters, protesters have ended their blockade of a railway line used to transport phosphates in Morocco, after promises they would be reconsidered for jobs at the state-run phosphate monopoly, OCP.

Major US and international media outlets write about United Nations-backed informal talks between the parties to the Western Sahara dispute, Morocco and the Frente Polisario, which will take place in Long Island, New York on July 19-21, 2011.
