Morocco hosts Jewish pilgrimage

Hundreds of Jews from Morocco and abroad travelled to Essaouira province on Sunday (April 28th) for the annual pilgrimage to the sanctuary of Rabbi Nessim Ben Nessim, MAP reported.

In his address to pilgrims, officials and ulema, provincial governor Abdelouahab Jabiri underlined the importance of the Ait Bayyoud pilgrimage for preserving Morocco’s common history and heritage.
