Rabat – Morocco has a long experience in the field of child protection, UNICEF Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa Maria Calivis said on Wednesday in Rabat.
UNICEF will continue its partnership with Morocco given the efforts made by the Kingdom for child welfare, Calvinis told the press after a meeting with Head of government, Abdelilah Benkirane.
The meeting also dealt with the 2006-2015 child action plan and the means to promote cooperation between the sectors involved in the field.
Calivis is on an official visit to the kingdom to participate in the International Conference of Specialists initiated by UNICEF to examine political measures and approaches aimed at reinforcing equity for the benefit of new generations.
