New York (UN) – Minister delegate to the Foreign Affairs ministry Youssef Amrani and German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle underlined, on Friday at the UN’s headquarters in New York, that they are on the same page concerning terrorism which should be countered as part of a “holistic approach”.
Amrani told the press, following a meeting with Westerwelle, that they stressed the importance of a comprehensive approach that takes account of the security, democratic and socio-economic development dimensions.
This was a fringe meeting at a high-level conference by the UNSC fifteen member states on “threats to international peace and security caused by terrorist acts”.
