Morocco’s economy grew 1 percent year-on-year in the third quarter of 2016, up from 0.5 percent in the previous three months, due to a severe drought that hit the agricultural sector, the planning agency said on Monday.
The agency expects Moroccan gross domestic product (GDP) growth to slow to 0.8 percent in the fourth quarter of the year.
