Morocco, France sign cooperative deals

RABAT, April 3 (KUNA) — Moroccan King Mohammed VI and visiting French President Francois Hollande attended the ceremony for signing 19 cooperative agreements in various fields in Casablanca on Thursday.

The agreements aim to support French Language trainers in regional education and training centers, women’s rights, to set up a Euro-Mediterranean international institute for technology (INSA International) in Morocco. They are also meant to develop agriculture, rural development and food industry, upgrade sea products, to establish the Casablanca central school, to finance the employment and competence development program.

Other agreements are related to a 30 million euro-loan to the electricity and drinking water office (ONEE) to fund the drinking water networks upgrading program, a 150 million euro-loan for Zenata development company (SAZ), a subsidiary of the Caisse de D{p`t et de Gestion (CDG).
