Rabat – Morocco and the EU are currently examining new agreements to implement their strategic partnership, Foreign Minister Saad Dine El Otmani said on Monday in Rabat.
“We discussed new agreements aiming at the implementation of the Morocco-EU partnership and we examined the agreements approved by the European Parliament to further strengthen the Advanced Status and pave the way for a free trade area between Morocco and the EU,” El Otmani told the press following talks with President of the European part of the Morocco-EU parliamentary committee Pier Antonion Panzeri.
On this occasion, El Otmani highlighted the firmness of relations between Morocco and the EU.
EL Otmani also said that the talks dealt with the situation in the Maghreb and Mali as well as the latest developments in the Middle East.
