Rabat — The consumer confidence index rose by 7.4 points during the second quarter of 2011 compared to the same period last year, the High Commission for Planning (HCP) said.
The index followed a rising trend to stand at 85.8 points, against 78.4 points last year, the HCP said.
The HCP noted that household’s opinion on the future prospects of the standard of living improved during the first quarter leading up to the second quarters of 2011 posting an increase of 11.6 and 15.4 points respectively compared with last year.
