Morocco Backs Guinea’s Drive To Modernize Administration

A group of Moroccan experts is in the Guinean capital, Conakry to fulfill its side of a bargain to implement a Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two countries on 9 June, 2015, government sources in Guinea have disclosed.

The group which arrived in Conakry on Saturday is led by head of the innovation division and modernization programs of the Moroccan administration, Hatim Mouradi who began consultations with their Guinean counterparts.

On Tuesday, the delegation met with the Guinean Minister of Public Service, Sekou Kourouma, in the presence of cabinet members and heads of various technical departments, the sources said.

The Guinean official explained “the main directions for the success of the Moroccan mission with the findings of various sectors of the Guinean government.

President Alpha Conde, who hosted Moroccan King Mohammed VI in March 2014 in Conakry, expressed his intention to draw inspiration from the Moroccan model with a view to developing his country.
