RABAT, (Xinhua) — Moroccan security officers at Casablanca airport arrested Monday a Latin American passenger with 90 capsules of cocaine weighing a total of 1.17 kg inside his stomach, local newspapers reported.
According to the report, the passenger, identified as “Le Matin “, was arrested upon his arrival at the airport from a “Latin American country.”
The arrestee, 35, showed visible signs of nervousness during entry procedures, so the officers made a thorough examination and an ultrasound test which revealed the existence of 90 capsules of cocaine in his stomach.
The passenger admitted that the cocaine capsules were ingested inside his stomach in Sao Paulo, the largest city of Brazil.
