The Anwar Invest Group is entering the cement industry with its first production plant in Laayoune, Morocco. The company has scheduled construction to start in September.
Anwar expects to expand at a later date in other parts of Morocco and Africa. At present, the group is mainly active in the real estate market, but has also interests in the food, logistics and distribution sectors. The companies has some 20 subsidiaries and employs 4000 staff.
