Morocco “a model for Arab countries in terms of constitutional reforms” -Spanish Interior Minister

Rabat, October 4th, 2011 – Morocco is a “model for the Arab countries in terms of constitutional reforms,” said, on Tuesday in Rabat, Spanish Minister of Interior, Antonio Camacho.

Camacho hailed, in a statement to the press after a meeting with his Moroccan peer Taieb Cherqaoui, the “important progress made by Morocco in the field of political reforms under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI “.

He also expressed satisfaction with the “good” cooperation relations between Rabat and Madrid. These relations, he went on to say, “have been strengthened over the past years in all areas.”

Camacho, who highlighted the two countries efforts in the fight against illegal immigration, expressed his country’s satisfaction at the efforts made by Morocco in this field, which “have significantly reduced migration flows since 2007.”
