Rabat – Moroccan think tank, Centre marocain des Etudes et des Recherches en Sciences Sociales (CERSS), was ranked first in the Maghreb and 10th in the MENA region by the University of Pennsylvania in its annual report, “Global Go-To Think Tanks 2011”.
The CERSS, run by Professor Abdellah Saaf, carries studies and research on Moroccan society and its regional environment.
The Center publishes studies and periodicals and organizes conferences and seminars as well as training sessions.
The same report, ranks the Moroccan think tank, Institut Amadeus, 28th in the MENA region and 18th in the ranking of the best new think tanks.
