Moroccan King Mohammed VI on Thursday extended congratulations to the U.S. President Donald Trump, on his country’s Independence Day.
According to the Moroccan official news agency MAP, King Mohammed VI expressed in a message “his heartfelt congratulations” to Trump, and his “sincere wishes for further progress and prosperity to the American people.”
He stressed that the centuries-old bonds of friendship, based on the active solidarity and mutual esteem, have always formed the basis for their distinguished bilateral cooperation in various areas.
Morocco will continue to work with the United States for the preservation of peace and security in the world, and to promote a more secure and prosperous African continent, added the message.
