Marrakech – Moroccan Minister of Interior Taieb Cherqaoui received, on Monday in Marrakech, Yury Fedotov, executive director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
During this meeting, held on the sidelines of the Fourth Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, the two sides reviewed the different aspects of cooperation between Morocco and the UNODC in various areas, especially counter-narcotics, illegal migration and terrorism.
Fedotov lauded the message sent by HM King Mohammed VI to the participants in the conference, and expressed admiration for the constitutional reforms initiated by the Kingdom.
He also commended Morocco’s efforts in the fight against international drug trafficking networks, illegal migration and terrorism.
