Rabat – A monitoring commission to examine urgent issues related to the central city of Taza will be set up, it was agreed at a meeting held Friday night in Rabat between Moroccan Prime Minister Abdelilah Benkirane and a parliamentary delegation from the city of Taza.
The parliamentary delegation of Taza was composed of Messaoudi, Abdelkhalek Krouti, Karim Hemss, Ghazi Jetiou and Fouad Gharib, said a statement from the Premier.
This meeting was attended by Minister of State, Abdellah Baha, Interior Minister, Mohand Laenser, Minister of Justice and Liberties, Mustafa Ramid, Minister of Economy and Finance, Nizar Baraka, Minister of Employment and Vocational Training, Abdelouahed Souhail, and Minister of Communication, government spokesman, Mustapha El Khalfi.
After reviewing the recent events that took place in the town of Taza, participants at the meeting stressed that the preservation of security is a collective responsibility and the responsible dialogue and cooperation are the appropriate means to solve problems, the source said, adding that it was therefore agreed to set up a commission which will be tasked with monitoring of urgent issues and finding appropriate solutions.
