The third edition of MEBAA Show Morocco 2019 opened Wednesday in Marrakech.
The two-day outdoor event provides the ideal platform for business aviation suppliers, providers and buyers to network and establish new relationships in North Africa.
The business aviation sector witnesses “a clear evolution in the world in general and in the Kingdom in particular,” minister of tourism, air transport, crafts and social economy, Mohamed Sajid, told MAP on this occasion.
The aviation sector has developed significantly in Morocco since the signing of the “Open Sky” agreements with both the European Union and the United States, he pointed out, noting that the signing of these agreements pushed several major aviation companies “to operate in Morocco and serve our main tourist destinations”.
The Middle East & North Africa Business Aviation Association (MEBAA) is a non-profit association established in 2006 with the mission to provide a platform for members of the business aviation industry in the MENA region and to gather, understand, and communicate the needs and benefits of the industry.
