Mauritanians protest violence against women

Hundreds of Mauritanians rallied in Nouakchott on Wednesday (April 3rd) to protest violence against women, PANA reported.

The demonstration was prompted by the recent abduction, rape, mutilation and murder of a 20-year old pregnant woman.
